NATURE

CAMINITO DEL REY (1,5u)

Nice walk with beautiful views. Path is very accessible and easy. In the photos it looks scary, but you walk on boards of 1-1.5 meters wide with a fence and steel cable as a handrail, so very safe. Helmet is mandatory (free) but more for the ornamental. If you want to get a ticket, order it online or via PlanA!

EL TORCAL DE ANTEQUERA (1,5u)

This nature park consists for the most part of limestone rocks. These have been eroded over the years by water and wind, which produces very beautiful images.

Caves of NERJA (40 min)

In bad weather, the Nerja caves are a good choice. This beautiful 'stalactite cave' is 5 km long. Keep in mind that there are some stairs to take. This cave was discovered in 1959. It is best known for its enormous high formations.

Cities

FRIGILIANA (40min.)

Frigiliana is a beautifully maintained white mountain village in the province of Málaga (Andalusia), which was inhabited by Moors for a long time. It has a fantastic historic center with narrow, steep, winding streets and alleys that are full of surprises every time.

NERJA (40 min.)

Nerja has 15 small beaches. It is definitely recommended for those who enjoy snorkeling. There are plenty of large rocks along the water which gives a nice backdrop. The old center of Nerja is only accessible for pedestrians. It is nice to be here on one of the many terraces. The picturesque shopping streets also provide a cozy atmosphere. The "BALCONY OF EUROPE" gives a nice view over the sea and the village. Near Nerja there is another 'aqueduct' that is certainly worth a visit: the “EL ACUEDUCTO DEL AGUILA”. In Nerja you can also visit the famous limestone rocks.

RIO CHILLAR:  just "above" the village of Nerja runs a river the Rio Chillar. Here you can take a walk. The river has various pools and waterfalls. This can provide a pleasant refreshment during the summer months

GRANADA (1u30)

The city is home to one of Spain's most famous monuments, the ALHAMBRA, a gigantic historic palace full of remains of both Moorish and Catholic culture. The Albaicín district and the Sacromonte are known for the (gypsy) flamenco: many great people from this world came from here or started their careers here.

MALAGA (45 min.)

Málaga is the second largest city in Andalusia, and the fifth largest city in Spain.
The city lies on the Mediterranean Sea, on the tourist Costa del Sol and just 140 kilometers from the Strait of Gibraltar.
Málaga is a port city that is the main source of income for this city. Apart from that, it is a very popular tourist destination, especially for the nearby places on the Costa del Sol such as Torremolinos and chic Marbella. The port is also an important stopping point / starting point for cruise ships sailing the Mediterranean. Those who like to 'shop' are in the right place here.

WATER PARKS

The aqua parks are a fun activity with the kids. They certainly ensure fun and refreshment during the warm summer months.
 - AQUA VELIS IN VELEZ MALAGA AT 30 MINUTES
 - AQUA TROPIC IN ALMUNECAR AT 45 MINUTES
 - AQUALAND IN TORREMOLINOS AT 1 HOUR AND 1O MINUTES (This is the nicest in our opinion)
 - AQUA MIJAS IN MIJAS AT 1 HOUR AND 20 MINUTES

SHOPPING

- TAX-free shopping in Gibraltar.
- Many shopping streets in Malaga and Granada. (45 minutes)
- Large shopping center "El Ingenio" in VELEZ MALAGA - TORRE DEL MAR (25 min.)
- Large shopping center in Malaga: 'CENTRO DE OCIO' (45 min.)
